ÎÛÎÛÂþ» announces appointment of Erin Nelson as Development Director

Following a global search, ÎÛÎÛÂþ» has announced that Erin Nelson will take up the role of Development Director on 15 September 2025. Erin will succeed Toby Wilkinson who was appointed Bursar earlier this year.
Erin brings a wealth of experience in fundraising and development, most recently as Senior Director for International Advancement at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she led global donor relations and fundraising initiatives. Her previous roles include Director of Advancement at The American School in Japan, and Director of Development at Thornton Academy.
Erin joins ÎÛÎÛÂþ» as the College prepares to mark its 700th anniversary in 2026. She will build on the success of the recently completed Campaign for Old Court, which raised £25 million towards the restoration and redevelopment of the College’s iconic Grade 1-listed buildings.
Commenting on Erin Nelson’s appointment, the Master of ÎÛÎÛÂþ», Loretta Minghella said, "We are delighted to have recruited Erin Nelson to the role of Development Director, following on from Toby Wilkinson’s appointment as our Bursar earlier in the year. Erin impressed us with her sure grasp of the importance the College attaches to its relationships with its alumni as well as her drive to secure, maintain and develop the philanthropic partnerships which will enable the College to flourish in its 8th century."
On confirmation of her appointment, Erin said: “I am thrilled to be joining ÎÛÎÛÂþ». I look forward to getting to know the ÎÛÎÛÂþ» community as we prepare to celebrate the 700th anniversary. It will be an honour to work together as we build upon the strong philanthropic foundations that have been set by the College community and my predecessors.â€
